Today, I come from the TEDx Tryon stage...straight to your heart.

I am still high from this weekend's TEDx performance experience. For 3 days I was immersed in a creative collaborative process with singer-songwriter, Asher Leigh.

We were invited to be the Final Performance of TEDx Tryon--bringing the event to an uplifting close, honoring the charge of the day "Live.Inspire.Repeat."

We spent the two days of dress rehearsal and tech rehearsal soaking in the TED Talks, letting whatever moved us...

I just had the most fun Video-conference Coaching Experience with our SHINE Expansive participants. In order to warm us up to liberating our true self expression, I invited in a spirit of PLAY. Before I knew it, people were wearing fox masks, and being kissed by oversized stuffed animals, and having a personal dance party, and wearing fake mustaches and turning themselves upside down.

Although they meant it more as a 'Be a Good Girl' and I felt it more as embarrassment in my teenage years, I now LOVE this phrase. I have finally grown into its true meaning. And I am now a messenger of this phrase myself, guiding others to "Remember who you TRULY are."

I am barefoot, connecting with the Earth. I am more aware of being on this planet together with everyone and everything. I am feeling more than ever like "We are in this together."

I feel interconnected with parts of the human experience, that I used to wall myself away from out of self-protection.

Rather than walking away from politics, or avoiding the more devastating news headlines, or separating myself from...

For months I have been incubating, nourishing, and creating a new and stronger 'foundation' for SPARK and The SHINE Expansive. I have been doing the behind-the-scenes structural support work that my inspired creative side tends to drift away from. I am clear now that this new foundation is exactly what can ground my most expansive dreams into reality. Next week this new 'foundation' will be revealed.
